The Assembly
The Assembly consists of all citizens over 20 years of age who are male and female. The Assembly votes on major policies within the city state that the Council composes. The Assembly gets to elect the members in the Council. They also get to vote for the Director based on who is running out of the Council.
The Council
The Council consists of male citizens over thirty who are elected by the Assembly. They must have gone through a good system of education. They serve five year terms, but can run multiple terms. There are twenty members in this group. When the Director’s term is up, Council members have the opportunity to run for Director. The Council’s main job is to create laws in which ones of major policies are proposed to Assembly while minor policies go right from the Council to the Director.
The Director
The Director is like the leader in our city state, but he has controlled power by the Three Watchers. The Director must be a male who has served at least one term in the Council and over thirty years of age. He has a ten year term. The Assembly vote for the Director based off who is in the Council and running. They can only serve one term. He has control over military tactics (when they are needed) in which the Watches have to ensure. The Three Watchers overlook the actions of the Director to make sure he’s doing a good job in office. After law ideas pass through Assembly, the Director can veto laws or allow it to pass to on to the Watchers for finalized decisions.
The Watchers
The Three Watchers are overseers who have high powers and limit the Director’s powers. They must have served a term as a Director. They must be over 40 years of age and male. The have final decisions on laws. If a Director passes a law on to the Watchers, they have final decision on that law, but if the Director vetoes a law it does not get passed on to the Watchers unless the Watchers overthrow his ideas.
