Eirínios had more similarities to Athens than Sparta. One major way is that they encompass Athens is that when dealing with foreign affairs they have peaceful relationships with many countries, They have trading agreements with Elysium, Okeanos and Hermeter and a slightly less friendly but still productive trading relationship with Hyperion. The education system is also more inline with the education system in Athens. In Eirínios, children are taught communication skills and other life skills, this a a co-education opportunity at an early age , which they believe will create good citizens. The genders are then divided and the males are taught from then onwards how to farm, and construct things and provide for their family, they are also educated in aspects of seamanship and navigation in order to help the nation as a trading industry. The females are taught how to run a household and raise children, They can obtain further education if they desire, but spaces are very limited and not consider suitable for the needs of most women. In Sparta, women were expected to be fierce and strong warriors as this meant that the children they would bear would be valuable warriors. In Athens children were valued for other skills than their military prowess. Family units within Athens are similar to those in Eirínios, the children grew up within the family unit until they were adults and ready to start their own family, In Sparta children started their military training and were separated from their families at the age of seven. One area that Eirínios had closer ties to Sparta than to Athens is the structure of its government. There is one main leader, but he is held to account by council members who are elected, similar to the Ephors in Ancient Sparta and the Watchers having a similar role to that of the Gerontes of Sparta.
